Hi,
When I first registered, my folding user was part of team 0, but has been part of a new team for awhile now. Any chance I can change my user's stats ID from the one I used originally (2023762) to the new one (8442781) under the new team?

My folding user is AYColumbia and the stats ID under team Mizzou is 8442781. It would be great to log in and see the stats.

Thanks for anything you can do to help.

I'm having a hard time understanding what you mean but if you are asking about moving your previous points to the new team, sorry, you can't do that.

Okay, sorry for the confusion. Let me see if I can clear it up. First, I'm talking about the stats page here:
http://hardfolding.com/fh_stats/

When I first started folding, I created my user under the default team, i.e., team 0 because I didn't really know anything about this folding stuff. I then found this place for following my stats which was really nice.

So when I registered here, my F@H user was still under team 0. Later I created my own team (Mizzou) and moved my user from team 0 to Mizzou. This was a long time ago now. However, this wasn't a problem because the stats, here, are only shown for the top 1000 or so teams.

I hope you followed all that. ;) So when I log in to the stats page, it shows the stats, by default, for team 0. I assume that's because my registered user's statis ID is the one associated with team 0 right? Because when I go and look up my user under team Mizzou, it has a different stats ID. The stats IDs mentioned in my first post.

So I was hoping I can change my account stats ID so when I log in, the system shows my stats for team Mizzou and not team 0. I hope this long-winded explanation makes sense.

Apologies for the confusion.

Points stay with the user and team with which they were gained. Nothing can be done about that.

I think what he is asking is when he logs into hardfolding.com, his stats are showing for his user with the default team. He wants to change that to where when he logs in, the stats are shown for his new team. Which should be possible, but he'll have to contact whoever runs hardgaming to get them to change it.

Ah yea, I had never thought of that. I just checked and its not possible to change it within the account settings, the admin\mod of the site would most likely be needed.

which is..... the most inactive person on the forum.. so don't expect that to happen any time soon.

as far as the original poster goes.. there is honestly no point in using hardfolding.com, just use EOC's stats page. updates every 3 hours vs the 12 or 24 hours hardfolding updates and is just easier to use as a whole.

http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_summary.php?s=&t=33

search for your name should show 2 stats 1 for team 33 and one for team 0 if you used the same user name..

I'm NOT talking about moving points or anything like that. Not sure where you guys are getting this. I just want to see the stats for the appropriate stats ID when I log in. That's it.

I didn't join team 33 because I didn't know about it at that time. Once I created my own team, I decided to stick to it.

Anyhow, not a huge deal. I just thought I'd see if it can be done. I do use EOC by the way. :)

Thanks. Yep, that's what I'm doing now. I was just trying to see if the ID can be changed once a user is registered. Maybe an admin who sees this thread can chime in.

I also like their badges, i.e.,

5.png

It's strange that the badges don't work on this site, i.e., the wrong badge shows above but if you go directly to the URL it works fine.

First one should look like this and second like this.

To get that changed, as was stated you will need to try contacting the admin of hardfolding.com (which is not the same as for hardforum.com or hardocp.com , it is a seperate entity), I believe it is KingN , but could be mistaken.. The admin for hardfolding is not active much at all, in the last 2 years I cant remember seeing more than one or two posts from him in the last few years.
