are you serious, all you have is 3 boxen and you're beating me??
i have an A64 3200+ (2.1 GHz) running 5hrs/day (sucks, parents...)
AMD Duron 900MHz running 12hrs/day (guess who again!)
p2 running 12hrs/day (thanks, mom and dad)
then four p3's (i think they're p3's, could be p2'si'll check tomorrow) borged at school, running 24/7
one borged A64 3200+ (2.0GHz) running, borged, at 16hrs/day
and a borged p4 (2.31GHz) runs 24/7...
that's about, roughly, 10GHz
i will beat you

true true...Buckus said:Yeah, I'm running only 3 boxen. You can look it up on the Stanford site.
Anyway, two of the boxes have a gig of RAM and the Duron has 512, so that may have something to do with it. Oh, my Athlon64 actually runs at 2.1Ghz, not 2.0. Doesn't make a big difference, but every little bit helps. I tried to overclock the XP, but it kept kicking out packets early, so I had to put it back to stock speeds. Oh yeah, my wife also is busy with the baby, so she doesn't use the computers much, and I don't use my computer much due to school/work, so pretty much they're running 24/7 uninterrupted. Maybe 23/7. The Duron was mine but I gave it to my sister with the explicit condition that she let Folding@home run 24/7. She was cool with that.
All you have to do is convince some of those people to run the computers 24/7 and you'll more than likely bump up your PPD greatly.

The top [H]orde folder at Divx.com, Phunky_Monkey, uses over 45 mac G4's to boost the teams production. You should enjoy the opportunity to pass me, and build a gap. Once I get this silly A64 3400+ @ 2,519 dialled in, I will rebuild my P4, that lived on QMD's for 3 weeks. At 3.6 GHz it ran 450 point QMD's in 20 hours or less. Wonder what it will take to run these cores at 4.4GHz? Only one way to find out I guess.

aww, hope you get it setup soon...i've got a 2.6GHz p4 b0rg planned for tomorrowLeadman584 said:As in the silly Lightspeed, I've been too chicken to install yet. Trying to get this dang A64 set up to run as a home server. The board doesn't care for the RAID drivers much. It wants to drop the MBR onto an IDE drive, before allowing OS install on Raptor array. Crashed windows a half dozen times, because the board refuses to accept 4 DDR chips at once. Right now it's folding with evaluation copy of XPPro X64. All my favorite free programs, detect this OS as server class, and refuse to load, until I pay (not happening). 64 bit driver support is kinda slim right now. Probly have to dump this install, and go back to XPPro X86, at least I can fight with drivers that will install. Hate trashing a WU, so I'll wait till this one completes, and refuse new one.
