What with the Atenolol, Bendroflumethiazide, Gabapentin, Simvastatin, Ibuprofen & Glucosamine tablets that I take every day, add any more and I'd rattle.

Its a good thing I get them free here.

I have seen this thread but not had time to respond till now ...

As of right now, I have two hold ups.

1) My TRUE 120 will arive monday. That is keeping me down two boxen.

2) Power: I got my side three back online and running great ont he IP35-E. Overclock was super easy and running at 3.4Ghz (Q6600) I looked down and noticed that three were pulling 560 Watts (187 watts each) ..(600 counting router and modem)

My second set of three are the ones waiting on the True's ... But when online .. 560 watts again

On 15 Amp circuit = Max 1440 Watts

1440-600-560=280 left

That 280 has to run ... my Main rig Q6600 @ 3.4 + 1950XTX + 5 HD

Other equipment in room ... 1 x 24 Inch LCD 2 x 19 inch LCD 1 x 4.1 speakers 1 x AIO printer

Also a floor lamp pulling 100 watts when on ..

So, I noticed I am out of power in that room... Gonna have to move two to the living room or something ..
Kinda glad I noticed it before hand .. but still a headache to deal with ....

I am really hopeing that on Monday .. I will have all them back online and folding

No do what I did install a 13 watt flourescent (sp) lamp. 900 lumens avg of a 60 watt bulb and it gives you 47 more watts for boxen! :p

15amp = 1875watts (Rule of thumb 80% usage) = 1500 watts useable.

My 7 boxes on the one circuit are pulling 1400 watts. I want to rework some of the wiring this weekend. I want to pull about 200 watts off that load and shift it to a 2nd circuit in addition I want to work the wiring in my "Mini Data Center" so I can fit my 7th box on level 1 of the boxes. My 10th box will cause me to begin to build upward. I calculated that I can fit 21 boxes in the space. 3x7 config.

My goal is to take a long break after my 10th boxen, and that should pull about 1800 Watts in total which should be ok energy here costs less than .08 / kw so my last bill was about 180 bucks...

I actually think those 13 watters are brighter than their 60 watt equivalent once they warm up.

I agree, I have 3 fixtures I want to convert from these Froo Froo fancy fixtures to something more Green. Every Watt I save on lighting, etc is another watt that I can dedicate toward folding!

Really I'm no addicted, Honest! I really mean it...

 
Yeah, work very hard to save power from everything else. In my new condo, I'm working hard to think power efficiency (13 SEER mini-split heat pump, all fluorescent lighting, programmable thermostats, superior insulation, insulating the hot water tank, energystar washer, fridge and dishwasher, etc...) so I will have lots of room to feed my home folding farm (by using 80plus power supplies only).

For my daily take you have me beat by a couple medications. However, back in my "prime" we were tied on the number of meds taken per day. And I pay for most of mine. I'm lucky and my doctor likes me so he keeps giving me samples of a couple of my drugs so I don't have to pay for the prescription. That has saved me a large chunk of money over the last year.

I wish something could be done with the insulation in my apartment as well as new windows as the current single pane windows suck ass as well as the aluminum frames. Those two things alone would make a huge difference in my power bill at times. I also wish I could get rid of the hot water heater tank and instead get one of the heaters that only heats the water as you use it. It would also be nice if I could hook up a water cooling system which would heat my water and get rid of the hot water heaters altogether. :D

 
Last months electric bill before I started folding was $26. Will be interesting to see how it climbs as I start adding machines next week.

 
My normal electric bill is $50/mo so moving to $180 sounds about right with the farm. I'm guessing I'll hit $200 this month or more considering A/C will be on soon. Thank god all I pay for is a fan blowing... Condo association pays for the compressors, etc. well through my monthly condo ass. fees.

I'm collecting my history now to support my tax deduction. :)





 
Evil Watch -- 2008 -- News Update

Well, the move of two boxen into the living room went well.
Had a perfect space behind the TV and Stand ..

Still gotta wait till monday for the two more heatsinks .. for my primary desktop and one more boxen.
 
Pre folding as low as 70/month

Now, before the AC, 120 :p

It's going to be a long summer :(

 
LOL tell that to my 90.9F Data center... it is sweltering right now thank god tomorrow is set for a high of 50ish
 
It was 82F in my "data center" yesterday and things were doing fine. Both GPU and CPU cores on the boxen were hovering around 54C. Ima going to try and limit A/C usage as much as possible this summer.
