We've been going neck and neck for over a week now with one of us pulling forward then the other pulling forward, rinse and repeat. How about a friendly race to see who can pull ahead by a decent margin by the end of this year? (terms to be decided if the challenge is accepted)

What say you?
 
Sorry! I don't get by here as often as I used to, so I only just now saw this thread.

I am not sure a race would be possible for me. All but one of the units I run are from a work farm, and I have as many borged as would be allowed. The only thing that really varies my output these days is how many of them I can keep running for long periods of time without interruption, and the size (and value) of the data they are chewing on. Other than that, there are scant few variables I could employ that would make a race interesting.

Back in the day, I would have just built a couple of boxen at home to light a fire under my score, but these days, I tend to run at a pace, and that is about it. I fought those kinds of fights in the UD project for years, and when it ended, I was the undisputed number 1 on the team. I have kind of had my moment in the sun, now I am just a contributer like the rest. But if such things interest you, feel free to pass on the right, and go after whomever is ahead of us. :cool:

 
Great way to decline a gauntled :D You are right, not everyone is up for challenges so even if you fold casually, it's great :)

Ouch! I admit I am not in Flecom's league, but I still made it to half a million in 6 months. Not gauntlet worthy, but still not bad! ;)
 
I accept Anderu's reasoning for declining and will keep trying to move ahead surely but steadily. Anderu was in my sights for a long time but I couldn't touch his daily production.

no one else is really in my sights yet that would be a fair fight for both of us but you can all bet i'll be right back here when that happens!
