I tried calling him yesterday and left him a message asking him what exactly is going on with this situation and what he plans to do about it. I guess your lucky you got a hold of him. Hopefully he wasn't bullshitting you about getting everything solved but I wouldn't put it past him![]()
At this point, he can be afforded no more benefit of doubt. He will not make good on his debts, and what's he's allegedly engaged in constitutes mail fraud. The fact that he engaged residents of Canada in his scheme ups the ante when it comes time to charge him. This is a federal case, not a local one, and he'll feel the pressure very soon if everyone involved contacts his local authorities as well as the FBI (IC3, really) and USPS mail fraud unit.
Again, contacting his local authorities isn't enough. All aggrieved parties should immediately contact the FBI and the USPS.
