Wow, that's exactly what I was expecing in terms of my transaction. I dunno if he shipped it Priority or Parcel Post for you, but MO to VA is similar to MO to CA, is it not?

Again, the crux of the issue here is that Logitechfreak needs to somehow PROVE that shipment has been made; in that case, we can go to the USPS and yell at them. Until then, invalid DC #s and empty promises yield absolutely nothing.
 
Oh god, I just bought a motherboard off of him...paid $120 I hope to god he ships it...I can't afford to get screwed over...
 
1)The top on is one is a shipping label that not a shipping confirmation form like everyone knows that when sending somthing with usps they have that multiple write through paper that makes three copys of the information once you ship things you get the white or pink copy.... its not just any shipping label its one address to him.

2) the bottom is just a reciept. that usps print out when you send some is the U.S.A they dont do that here in Canada they give a whole wrighten out form type thing I can take a picture of one is you guys wanna see one from purolator canada.

I think he doesnt know what hes talking about because he has never shipped before simple.

He was defining the second part of the label (when you print your postage online) that the sender keeps for his records. That second half of the label doesn't not mean that a package was shipped. All that shows is that a shipping label was created.

So the now the question is not if USPS is constantly stealing his stuff; it's whether or not he owned everything he sold and sent it out. Because apparently when dealing with an actual, physical item, it worked.

You guys are somewhat lucky. Perhaps you're stuff may ship, but my DC # still says "There is no event information regarding this number" or whatever it is. Basically it's a bunch of random digits that means nothing to USPS. 0307 0020 0000 3252 5109

1) both, my madien name is rogers, on my license it shows chartier (past trouble had to take my fathers last name for custody rights)

2)i never lied about having a camera.. i said i dont have a camera mine is out for repairs. yes i have a crappy webcam but what would it do for fine print stuff?

3)as stated to most of my buyers i left town for a few days and when i got back my room was wrecked, while the net was down today i went ahead and took the time to fully clean and search my room, although i did not find every receipt. i did find about 7/10 of them.. / to your second half of the question.. i do not own a scanner.. so stuff like fine print (ie receipts or anything) would be useless to take pictures of..

4)usps hate me?, no. i cannot explain why usps has lost so man y packages..maybe they arent lost maybe they are at the post office here in crocker.. i can only guess at total shipping weight sicne i lost my postal scale when moving here to this house..

5) im 19 who moves along with my family.. in the last 4 years we've moved to over 10 different houses so to have different phone numbers and address that should answer that..
i was banned wrongfully at anandtech as darkside50420.. the guy got his money and im pretty sure he got his item too..

I'm honestly going to give him a chance. I am a believer that there is good in everybody so I'm not passing judgment yet and he gets a free ride for now. I told him if the stuff isn't physically shipped Wednesday then I will be forced to pursue legal action. He seemed like a pretty good guy, but then again, its the internet. I've never been scammed before and now isn't a good time to start.

Hey, here's an idea. Why don't you stop using USPS, Logitechfreak, and simply ship everything UPS or Fedex? i.e real, tangible tracking
For those of you still fleshing out pending deals, i.e. will ship out tomorrow / in the future, simply request he use a 100% trackable service. Request he eat the costs for using said services and there should be no problems.

If you had just done that in the first place, all these issues would never have culminated in a 8 page long Troll thread. Well, maybe so, but it wouldn't be so foggy as to what's really going on.

first off im not going to pay twice/triple the amount of shipping just to ship ups(uniited package smashers)/fedex

and im already to low on cash to b paying for double shipping.. its out the question..

yes i could use paypal.. but no its locked up from the claims people have put through i cant even login.

now that i really know usps sucks out here i wont use them ever again.. but that doesnt make a difference since ill never trade here or at anandtech again..


im going to bed. say what you guys will..

Well if you want to cover the costs of shipping UPS or Fedex, then simply up your asking prices. That's all there is to it. Therefore you can give clear and uncontested tracking info which ACTUALLY tracks instead of DC numbers that don't work and lost receipts. It sounds like you still have close to a dozen pending transactions; perhaps it would be prudent to ask for a little more money to ship with actual tracking or simply issue refunds. After that, good riddance, I guess. Thanks for using up all my time.

Mine should have been from MO to CA and a decent size box, maybe 15 lbs max.

Mine consists a 24 inch LCD and a few case fans, I guess around 10lbs... I live in Canada, Ontario.. if it was shipped by priority it should be here by this week... its been a bit more than week for me.

I'd like to suggest everyone who logitechfreak has/is/was in trades with to communicate with each other via email or PM, where LF can't see/read. Then gather and organize all the revelant info about his trades, and be prepared to present a united front to his local cops. One or two guys calling and bitching about being scammed is one thing, but to have every one of you guys call, seperately, and politely and civily speak with the cops, plus having detailed and organized info on the trade ready to fax/email the cops, is going to make a difference.

Acting in concert will more likely get results, as it also shows his intent to steal (one or two is an accident or coincidence, but 9-10+ ?). Also since this is more like an ongoing crime, it's more likely to get harsher charges as the cops and prosecuters will look at the aggregate total that he's stolen, not just the $180 here, $450 there, etc as seperate incidents. Also the fact that he's done this before will work in your favor with his local cops.

And importantly- DON"T LET UP, even if some refunds come through. And I wouldn't trust any shipping number he comes up with now, he could just as well ship you a ROCK and have a legit tracking/DC# just to muddy the waters with. Only when you get all your money or all your goods back in your hands should you feel like it's done.

I am hoping, but now that is all I am doing, that the stuff I supposedly bought from him, shows up tomorrow.
Which will be a full 7 days since I paid for it. (Monday Nov. 5th, as I said, was the day I actually bought the stuff from him, Tuesday was the day the tracking number was created)
