I am in the middle of my first watercooling loop. I have a Rampage extreme ii core i7 and hd5970. I am watercooling the i7, 5970, and the northbridge and southbridge. I have a 360 rad and 240 rad. My question is about my full coverage northbridge southbridge block this is the model I have EK-FB RE2-AC. In case you are wondering why I am taking on the northbridge and southbridge in my first loop is because my northbridge was always in the 70 C degrees plus( live in southern cali with no AC) I tried everthing from changing thermal compound to a blowing a fan on it. A blowing fan on it kept in control, so needless to say that is why I am watercooling it. QUESTION TIME the full coverage block only covers the northbridge and southbridge but leaves I beleive they are mofsets with no heatsink. IS THAT OK??? Or do I need to take some sort of cooling action with them??? Any info on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
