I'm looking for a Core 2 Duo motherboard with RAID 1 support.

I was thinking of the Asus P5W DH Deluxe, but it has terrible RAID options.

Any recommendations?

I use the P5W for RAID 1. Haven't had any problems. When i run speed tests on the drives it comes out to about what 1 drive would be. I just use the EZ RAID feature too. Makes reformatting easy, no BS to deal with. Not that other ways are that difficult i guess.

I have that board and I love it. The EZ raid was the most simple raid setup ever.

I'm not sure what you think is terrible but if you are using 2 drives and going for raid 1 then it doesn't get any easier. You don't even have to install drivers for your OS.

Any Intel chipset that has either the ICH7R or the ICH8R will run RAID 1. Most of the higher end boards have secondary controllers that will run additional arrays and usually RAID 1 is one of the options.
