I'm curious as whether this rig can handle games at low or medium resolution. I'm also going to be doing some recording, but I know the requirements for that. I'm sort of new to all this, any feedback will help. I don't mind buying the cheap one now and start working on its upgrades, I just need suggestions as how much upgrades costs will run me. I'm willing to put in $300 in upgrades into the PC.
Quite frankly I prefer to buy now, seeing how bids can spike a price at the last minute.

My only two questions are:
*How much in upgrades will I need to play upcoming popular game titles?
*Will it be an ideal PC to do basic game footage/editing?
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming along with some video footage for it.
2) What's your budget? $300ish in upgrades, I can handle some shipping tax. If I can get it a little less that'd be great.
3) Which country do you live in? Tucson, Arizona, USA
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? Graphics card and power supply for the HP among other things.
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? As many parts as I can, but the Hp's Graphics card may need an upgrade.
6) Will you be overclocking? I don't plan to, no.
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
23" Screen Size
1920 x 1080 Resolution
300 Brightness
1,000:1 Typical Contrast Ratio
10,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio
160°/160° Viewing Angle
5ms Response Time
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Building
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? Something that will allow me to buy a bigger GPU.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? Yes Windows 7 64-bit.
