My old C2D P35 rig is starting to show its age. Will it be better to wait for Ivy Bridge or just build a SB system now? I got around PHP30,000 or around $700 converted. The new build would probably be used for 4 - 5 years like my current rig probably just a graphics card upgrade when I get a new monitor along the way

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming (Diablo 3, WoW, etc.), Web browsing, occasional video convertion.

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?

Thanks Danny. It usually about a month or less from release. When is the expected date of IB?
 
I thought it got pushed back to like June. Maybe that was the mobile versions.

You're probably right, I only read the headlines of the articles. Didn't bother reading them all, but now that I think about it. Well, when I was typing the last reply, I think I remember someone on the forums saying it was the mobile versions.
 
been delayed till June, and even when it does come out isn't it best to wait awhile for motherboard company's to get all the bugs worked out?
