1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Moderate gaming, web browsing, HD video streaming and bluray playback
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?

Processor, motherboard, power supply, ram. Processor cooler and SSD if the budget allows.

Don't need RAID or firewire. I do plan on getting a second 6850 down the line, so having crossfire (preferably a mobo that supports 3way crossfire so I can leave the middle slot empty for better airflow). Yes USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gbs. eSATA as well, no need for onboard video.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Yes, I have a copy of Windows 7 64bit Home Edition

This is what I've put together myself so far:

$409.98 - AMD FX-8120 and GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD7 Combo.
$210.99 - SeaSonic X Series X-850.
$99.98 - 2 x G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600.

Grand total after shipping and rebates: $732.25

One thing I'm finding myself get really stuck on is finding an aftermarket cooler. Since I'm not overclocking I'm mostly looking for modest cooling (I want it cooler than the boxed cooler, obviously) but also pretty quiet and not too pricey. Right now my Phantom does not have the 230mm side fan so I have plenty of room. Would adding that side fan to pull air into the case and then mounting a cpu cooler with a pull fan that is parallel to the side fan make sense?

Also, please don't factor in rebates unless you actually have them in hand. Rebates can be lost, rejected, or ignored. Also, do note that the combo deal you linked to will expire at the end of this month.
 
Not to bash...but for the price you'd be better off with a Intel 2500k or 2600k. That is unless you are set on Bulldozer for whatever reason?
