Building my own ps3\xbox360 controller

Hi there!

Anyone know if can I (or any other company) produce my own ps3\xbox360 controller to work wirelessly with those consoles, native, without any adapter? or do I need some chip from sony\microsoft to make it work as the original one?

PS3 is standard bluetooth and X360 is proprietary wireless.

So as a company you can make wireless PS3 controllers, but with Microsoft the answer is usually no. The only company I know of that has been able to license Microsoft wireless technology is Mad Catz for a headset.
 
^ most people dissassemble the controllers and make their own fight sticks but I have yet to see a custom controller for the 360
