Building my Dream Computer!

Well I just finished building this monster! 14164 in 3dmark06, everything at stock.

My cpu likes to go down to 1.6ghz (it changes multiplier to x6) a lot. How to i turn that off?

In the BIOS somewhere. I don't know what it's called exactly on your motherboard; what motherboard are you using?

A running system!!!

It sort of fits...

In order to install the fourth HDD, I need to modify the cage so that it doesn't interfere with the PSU. I will be cutting the top two slots off at the line:

This is where I'm building it:

[H]omg. I may have a wife and not be able to buy my system until October, but at least she cleans the apartment. I pray to God that you don't have to RMA anything. Good luck. It's always funny to me how guys who don't care about their parts or work in messy environs never have BSOD while the people with static mats etc BSOD on a daily basis....

Maybe just a funny joke.

Most of my stuff arrived today, and my room looked exactly like yours. After a few minutes of the stuff getting delivered, everything just sort of splooged everywhere. It's a pitty my hard drive doesn't arrive until tomorrow; if not i'd have been able to have a play with my rig today. So, 'you enjoying it?

So far yes. It's very fast!

There's really not much to see of mine at the moment. So far i've installed an optical drive, the motherboard and power supply into the case.

Sorry for the poor quality photographs. I've cleaned my room up a bit since earlier, and connected my new monitor to my laptop via VGA to see what it's like. I should be able to get some better photographs up tomorrow when it's all done.
