1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming,Multitasking(Browsing the internet and such), Programming

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
I would like to keep it between $2000-$2500

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
I'm by Kansas City, MO

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Windows 7 64bit OS
CPU
Motherboard
Memory
2x or 3x Video cards
Power Supply(I do have a Silverstone Stryder 850W Fully Modular PSU)
3xMonitors(would prefer 5760x1080 resolution all together)
Computer Case(I do have an Antec 900 but I want to make sure its plent cool and I think I want more room!)
CPU Cooler(I've toyed with the idea of going water cooled but not sure if I could fit it in my budget)
Data Storage HDD
SSD for boot drive(RAID 0) maybe?

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.

Antec 900 Case(Thinking I may want more room and air flow...unless water cooled in which case I know I'll need more room!)
Silverstone Stryder 850W Fully Modular PSU

6) Will you be overclocking?
Yes I plan on overclocking

7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
Looking for 5760x1080 and anything between 21.5-24inch

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
This coming week!

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? etc.
The option for RAID, SATA III, and the option for Tri-SLI or CrossfireX

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
No I need to purchase a new OS because I'm currently running XP 32bit

I'm not really a fanboy either way when I comes to CPUs or Video Cards but from what I've been reading I think I've narrowed it down to the i5 2500k Sandy Bridge for CPU and I think I want to go with NVidia for Video Cards because of the better driver support other than that I'm open to any all suggestions thanks

From everything I've read in other forums, I need more VRam to run at the resolution I want too. You think the GTX 560 will be able to pull good FPS at that resolution with only 2.5GB of VRam?

I was thinking of a setup something like this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148834 ~ 2TB Seagate HDD for Data

Build totals: $2921.36 Shipped

With 2x GTX 580 3GB: $3121.02

I know this is over my original budget but I think this is the one I feel most comfortable with...but I may just go GTX580 3GB in SLI instead so I can either step up the 600series cards or just add a third later for more power...the difference is a couple hundred though

From everything I've read in other forums, I need more VRam to run at the resolution I want too. You think the GTX 560 will be able to pull good FPS at that resolution with only 2.5GB of VRam?

Actually, it's 1280MB of VRAM total. With SLI or Crossfire, VRAM isn't additive.

In any case, the GTX 560 TI 448 Core should offer good FPS but probably not at max settings. Unfortunately, due to your insistence on Nvidia, your budget and the market, the GTX 560 TI 448 Core 1280MB is your best bet if you want Nvidia. If you want more VRAM within your budget, you're looking at AMD (HD 6950 2GB Crossfire or HD 6970 2GB Crossfire) or up the budget to fit the GTX 580 3GB.

Overpriced IMO. That case actually makes the overpriced Coolermaster HAF X look like a good deal.
Only gripe I have against this drive is the short one year warranty.
I'd go for the GTX 580 3GB if you're playing BF3 or Skyrim as those games can take advantage of the VRAM
I'd spend the extra $30 for an increase in quality:
$270 - Antec High Current Pro HCP-1200 1200W Modular PSU
Overpriced just a tad: A lot of RAM with similar specs are priced around $35 to $40:
$35 - Patriot Signature PSD38G1600KH 2 x 4GB DDR3 1600 RAM
I don't recommend this mobo on account of the short 1-2 year warranty and the poor HardOCP reviews of other AsRock Z68 mobos:

http://hardocp.com/article/2011/11/09/asrock_z68_extreme4_gen3_motherboard_review/

I would not go Tri-SLI with only a 1.2GB card. Too easy to run into VRAM limitations before you run out of GPU horsepower, especially at eyefinity resolutions.

Yeah I decided I'm gonna go SLI with the GTX 580 3GB version and maybe upgrade the Tri later

My step brother offered to buy my current setup for $500 so I got some extra cash to put in my new build

Okay I think I've finally narrowed down my build to what I want to get

I'm eventually going to water cool my video cards and maybe the whole PC but I'm gonna see how it goes with just the CPU for now since this will be my first venture into water cooling!

You do realize that ASRock motherboard only has a 2 year warranty, an as such there are better longer warrantied motherboards out there for the same price or cheaper.
