I'm building a computer, new at it though. My budget is $1300-$1500 for a gaming computer. Just need a little help in the best products I can get for all the parts, cases, video cards, processors, mother boards, etc....Thanks

Both have onboard audio so I didn't include sound cards but if you wanted to get one id cut down on the memory or get a cheaper hard drive (was going to suggest a raptor but they were too expensive with everything else) ...and I didn't include any cases because thats purely preference. Again though this is just my opinion on what id buy with that kind of money...

I like his Intel setup.....the only change would be substitute that mobo for the cheaper evga 680i mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813188009 and get yourself the e6600 (4megs cache will help for gaming )

The Intel setup is good (with the Striker being replaced) except I'd suggest a Corsair HX620 PSU for that. You know, this probably should have been posted in General Hardware.
