Got the SSD and a fast 1TB drive. BTW that 1TB drive is on sale right now so I'd recommend buying that part ASAP. The 300R case is cheaper than the RC-690 but of slightly better quality, more up-to-date features, and slightly better cooling.

I recently bought a Pioneer BDR-206 (2206 which includes Cyberlink software). The included Powerdvd 10 sucked. If I had known I would have gone with an OEM drive. You can setup XBMC to play Blu ray movies. You don't have to buy overpriced buggy software.

My main usage was going to be burning, not watching movies, but having decent software would have been nice. I haven't had reason to use PowerDVD in years and it brings back nothing but bad memories.
 
I use TotalMedia 5. Pretty happy with it and its integration with Media Center. I used it with my HD-DVD/Blu-Ray combo drive until it died and LG won't replace it because on serial is on the label.

Is there a comparable video card in nVidia flavor? I only ask because I am using an ATI card right now and the drivers are very bad for me on WoW currently. I had to revert to the drivers that came with the card over a year ago.

Probably the GTX 560 TI 448 Core. But it only has 1.2GB of VRAM and cost $50 more. The only decent Nvidia card with 2GB of RAM is the $400 GTX 670.
 
For nVidia solutions $200-300 you will want to look for GTX 470, 560 Ti, 560 TI 448 and GTX 570. If you are willing to do refurb this $244 MSI GeForce Twin Frozr II OC GTX 570 with a one year warranty isn't a bad option.

Getting ready to order today. I forgot to ask, what is the preferred thermal paste for CPU's these days? Last I used was Arctic Silver 5 but that was 4 years ago.
