current memory is DDR 4 2133 16 GB going to reuse that.

GPU is current 3070

Current PSU is an 850 going to reuse that.

Going up to Win 11 with all this.

Should I be ok with these components?

Forgot I am going to add 2 2GB SSD drives

I would get a lower cost motherboard and then buy some faster RAM. 2133 is going to handicap that CPU a lot. 12700k is otherwise a great CPU (I bought one at launch) and I don't think there is anything better for the price right now, for Intel. You can get 32GB of some decent DDR4 3600, for about $50-$60. And 32GB decent DDR5 for about $80.

A DDR4 board

or $10 less, without Intel wifi/bluetooth

In addition to the suggestions from chameleoneel, is there any reason why you're planning to get only 2.5" SATA SSDs? Are those the only storage devices and OS disk that you're going to use? If so, then I would change both of them to m.2 NVMe SSDs.

not everyone needs/want the high transfer speeds of nvme. for normal desktop use and gaming they make little difference.

While true, the cost difference is negligible. I'd recommend the NVMe for the OS drive at least if for nothing else than DirectStorage support. Nothing really demands it now, but that stuff is definitely in the pipeline now that the PS5-to-PC porting train is starting to really roll out of the station.

forgot about that part, i havent noticed any difference since i switched to nvme though. but im not playing sony games either...

Its kind of an outdated point, though. Gen3 and Gen4 SSD costs are no longer a lot higher than SATA drives. Many of the value drives, its a wash on price. But performance is still way better.
