First of all, this build is my lil 17 year old cousin's first build. He claims he wont be doing much gaming, I'm not so sure. He seems anxious to get it done asap, not sure why, he's going to college next year. I'm just posting this for him.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
I will be using my PC mainly for everyday use as well as some gaming. I will not be doing anything intensive on my computer.

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
My budget is $900 not including shipping or tax.

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
Sugar Land, TX, USA. (near Houston)

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
I have already bought a monitor for $120 and a power supply for $35 which is to be included in the budget. The power supply unit is 620 Watts, 80+ Silver, ANTEC. The monitor is HP 2311x where the optimum resolution is 1920x1080. I already have a mouse and keyboard.

6) Will you be overclocking?
No

7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
1920X1080. 23” HP2311x Monitor.

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
I want to build/buy the PC as soon as possible, but preferably finished by December 15th.

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video? etc.
I am not entirely sure about what features I will need in my motherboard, but I would like USB 3.0 and SATA 6 Gb/s.

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
No, but I will be getting a Windows 7 64-bit OS that will not be included in the budget.

my comment to him was, as he claims he's not gonna do much gaming, does he even need the 6850, there are cheaper options

RAM and HDD is OOS. Don't go with that HD 6850 as it's now overpriced due to shipping costs. I'd recommend the HD 6870 as well. I'd recommend the Lian Li case. Of the mobos you listed, I'd go with the MSI. CPU and DVD are solid choices.
