Hey all. Sold my last rig. Time to build a new one on a strict budget! My goal is to be able to play WoW and Starcraft 3 on high settings. No need to max out. Hoping I can get some advice on the best GPU/MB/Ram/CPU combo on my lousy gaming budget! :)

What parts do you have already? I have the HDD, cd/dvd drive, Windows 7, case, and PSU.
What will your system be used for? Movies and games. This rig will mostly be used for Starcraft 3 and World of Warcraft.
What is your budget? $350.00
What monitor resolution will you be playing at? Native resolution is 1920x1080

$200 - AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition CPU + BIOSTAR A785G3 AM3 AMD 785G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
$54 - Patriot 2GB DDR3 1333 RAM
$90 - BFG Tech BFGE98512GTGE GeForce 9800 GT 512MB PCI-E Video Card
---
Total: $344 shipped.

However, I highly highly recommend spending the extra $25 for a significantly faster video card for that resolution:
$115 - Powercolor AX5750 1GBD5-H Radeon HD 5750 1GB PCI-E Video Card

I mean it's still gonna only be medium settings but at least that'll get more FPS at that res.

Wa state is pretty big.. You near fry's? If so they have some pretty deep deals due to there aniversarry sale & I bet they will for memorial day as well.

Currently they have a AMD x3 with DDR2 Gigabyte mobo for like 50 bucks after rebate. That would allow budget for 4gb ram & a much higher end video card.
