Ok heres what im thinking
Cooler Master CMStacker case
AMD 5000+ BE CPU
CM650 Xtreme PSU
8800GTX
36GB Raptor boot
160GB SATA Storage
NEC DVDRW
4GB Reaper OCZ 800 RAM
GIGABYTE GA-MA69GM-S2H AM2 AMD 690G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
(i like the onboard HDMI and i have this board for my SFF and like it)

Thoughts?
the case, cpu, vid card, psu, hdds, media drive i have on had already (coming out of my SFF rig)
 
Just an FYI, that PSU is actually a Seventeem 500W PSU rated at continuous 500W. Dunno how the fuck CM thought it was a 650W PSU.
 
Oh ok cool. It's not a bad PSU really for $25. Should be sufficient.
 
Looks good. You might want to get better audio card and/or speakers but otherwise that is a good system.

500gb drives are v. cheap. Get SATA II - i like WD. Seagate is good but WD is impressively quiet.

I'd probably go with a 9600GT but if your budget allows for it go with the 8800GTX. May need a bigger raptor drive? Maybe a better HSF if you're overclocking?
 
I already have the GTX here, it goin to go in my SFF rig but decided to build the stacker with it instead.
HS will be replaced (that one on it fit the SFF) and bigger HDDs more then likely lol
