I need to build a budget gaming desktop and I have about $800 or so dollars. Maximum I can spend is about a little of $1000. I'm trying to keep the subtotal very low so I'm asking you guys to see if this desktop is worth it.

This is the link to a list that I've compiled over at newegg.

EDIT//

I revised the list again, i added a Fortron PSU (thanks Stellar) and a Athlon 3200+ Venice.

Wow shipping is expensive..

Everything is perfect except for the Thermaltake PSU.. it's weak on the 12v rails and they have a mediocre reputation for reliability.

I would instead suggest the Fortron (FSP) 450w for ~$50.

Yea I don't know if you're hellbent on ordering everything at once, but Best Buy will have great deals on hard drives and RAM with rebates.

I'm partial to 2 drives. 1 strictly for system and 1 for storage. I'd actually opt out for 2 74gb raptors and raid them. WOOSH! I actually just recently bought this external HD Case.

lemme tell you it ROCKS! I have my TV in my room and the External serves as my Storage drive for all my music, movies. So I can still mount the Drive in Windows so I can save any new Anime I get directly on there and listen to music. Only have a 250gb in there.

Also really look at your system and think "do I really new a new keyboard and mouse?" I know the idea maybe appealing to get EVERYTHING new but you can actually build a better base system and upgrade extra components like monitor and KBAM later. Also may I suggest the logitech G5. WORTH every penny.
