Budget Gaming Build

Hey guys, I'm looking to build a budget gaming rig for my brother. I already put together a build that I think will be a good start. I'm just looking for any suggestions you guys have. Thanks for the help!

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Mostly gaming: SC2, Diablo 3, League of legends, TF2, fallout 3 ect. Some web browsing, email, office word, youtube videos and real easy things like that.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
Our budget is at most $1000. If possible, the total for just the parts should be below 1K so there is a little headroom for shipping.
3) Where do you live?
Pennsylvania (USA)
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Case, CPU, GPU, PSU, Mobo, RAM, HDD, ODD, Wireless card, Win7, and a monitor.
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
He will be reusing his mouse, keyboard, and headset.
6) Will you be overclocking?

7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
Most likely a 22' monitor
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
We play on buying the pc before the rebates end. Probably on july 31st.
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video? etc.
Not many features are required. Onboard sound is a must because I want to save to money instead of buying a sound card. I would like a mobo with sufficient heatsinks (especially around the cpu area) because I don't want overheating to be an issue in the future.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?

I do have one question however. Is the memory I selected compatible with this mobo? For the life of me I could not find the list of compatible modules for this board.

For an extra $10, you can get a small clock speed increase and the possibility to OC:
$320 - Intel Core i5 2500K CPU + MSI P67A-G45 Intel P67 ATX Motherboard Combo

PSU wise, I recommend this PSU since it actually provides more power than the Corsair on the +12V rail:
$70 - Antec NEO ECO 620C 620W PSU

HDD wise, get this faster hard drive for the same price:
$60 - Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

You'll save $6 by going with this DVD burner once you factor in shipping:

You'll save another $10 via free shipping by going with this similar monitor:

I may use just about every one of your suggestions Danny Bui. The only one that I"m not sure on is the video card. I'll have to see how much money is left over after shipping is calculated in.

I know PA is pretty big, but there's a Microcenter in Philly that might let you save a few bucks on your CPU (if it's out of your way it's probably not worth the savings.)

Also, for that GPU, be sure to get this combo instead:
$190 -- XFX Radeon 6870 AND Shogun 2 Total War (comes in the Newegg box as a free Steam key) AND Dirt 3 (after you register the card they give you Dirt 3 for free.)

If he is close enough to get to one the i2500k is 180 there and until the end of the month (tomorrow, I realize it's not much time) they have save 40 on any motherboard and cpu combo and also there is an msi mail in rebate for 20 off. If you can get there tomorrow it should let you save quite a bit.
