Hello [H] peeps. I'm currently teaching a CIT class (just started) and they have NO lab equipment, none whatsoever. Most of my students (out of 28) are working on their A+ and I wanted to build some custom PCs for them to take apart, put back together, fix, install desktop OSs multiple times, etc. The parts don't need to dirt cheap quality wise, but they do not need to be anything special (gaming PC build quality). It's one of those, if a part breaks, the part will be cheap to replace kinda things.
I have made a build and wanted to see what the community thinks: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/cwL5
It has an AMD dual core CPU with the FM1 socket, SSD with an additional SATA drive for storage, and a PCI Express video card for basic installation (yeah, I could've went for onboard video but it's for teaching purposes).
Again, these are going to be for students to do a lot of work on and I want to have a decent, reliable build to setup for them. My budget is going to be <$500 and I'm looking to order 3-4 of these.
What do you think? Anything I can go cheaper on or better on for the price?
