Hi im hoping you guys can help me since i new to this stuff
planning to build my first computer and my budget is $1000
Already have the monitor mouse and keyboard so most likely
all i need will be the tower.. thanks

Please answer the stickied "ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS FIRST!" so that we can help you better.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Just gaming
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$1000 +tax and shipping
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
US
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
CPU,ram, gpu, psu, andmobo others will be my coice to pick
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
6) Will you be overclocking?
nope
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
27" 1080p
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
this month
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.
Will be doing SLI in future
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Yes i have a Key already

So did you need a case and HDD (for storage) as well?

Which OS license do you have? Windows 7 Home Premium? Pro? And just so that I'm getting the whole story, where did you get the key from?

1000k is just fro those parts ive list.... and i forgot to mention i need 120ssd too.. case will be a different budget

What case will you be choosing?

So you don't need a HDD for storage, correct?

Again, please answer my OS question.

Case will be 800D i think but it will bea full tower one so i wont have problem upgrading in the future
HDD prolly next year
OS is Windows 7 64Bit

Gonna repeat my question again: Where did you get the key from?

Then I recommend this setup:
$185 - Intel Core i5 3470 CPU
$120 - MSI Z77A-G45 Intel Z77 ATX Motherboard
$31 - G.Skill Value Series F3-10600CL9S-8GBNT 8GB DDR3 1333 RAM
$360 - MSI N670GTX-PM2D2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 670 2GB PCI-E Video Card
$200 - Crucial M4 CT256M4SSD2 2.5" 256GB SSD
$90 - Corsair 650TX V2 650W PSU
-----
Total: $986 shipped

Nice but 1 question, are MSI good brand? i heard ecga and asus are the good ones.

danny.. he can get better then that at the prices of 3570k's they are 170 plus tax at mircrocenter..
Where did he say he lived near a Microcenter? The OP did not mention whatsoever what state he lived in. Remember MC's CPU deals only apply in-store, not online.

Besides, since question 2 specifically states "If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible," if the OP didn't bother to put down what state he's in, I'm not going the extra effort in making sure the OP does or doesn't live near a MC.
also ram is also bad.. he can get the 1600 mhz ram, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231416

its ALOT better then 1300
The RAM you chose is OOS. Not to mention that there's is barely any real world difference between DDR3 1333 and DDR3 1600 RAM. As such, the extra $8 for that RAM isn't worth it for little to no real world performance increase.
