Ive seen many a post about btx vs atx, i understand what btx is trying to do but as i see it many of the upgrades that will come out on btx boards can just as easaly be but onto atx boards, and in atx style cases.
in my oppinion asus, and abit will probably make a couple of atx mobos with the new set up (pci express and so on) aslong as there is a market (Id buy one)
i understand that btx is trying to aliviate sound, and heat issues, but my modding my atx case has done that for them...
so id rather have an updated atx mobo to put in my modded atx inwin case...
my question here is "who's commin with me" who would rather buy an atx mobo with pci express, and so on, then everything (exept drives). just an informal pole to see if im alone in this, no need to say if you plan to change just if you dont plan on it
now if time goes by and no one makes an axt compatable mobo i will mod my case, (or buy the same modle in btx and just change the walls out so i dont have to mod everything again)
and bite the bullet for btx but i realy dont see that happening
dell and hp may jump at the idea of btx (passive cooling, swine copulators) but i dont see it being big with OCers, watter coolin people, or major modders
