BSOD Setup impossible W/O This..

I have my old harddrives in my new pc, but the keyboard lights up but will not work, I need tghe keyboard to setup my bios.. Any ideas?? Abit AV8 Mobo.. lol thanks..

What exactly is the problem? Are your hard drives working and loading Windows? Or is it not booting at all?
 
This is a total guess, as there is no info about it.

You have a saitek pc gamer keyboard or at least a usb keyboard?

No I have an old PS/2 keyboard... The problem is when I turn it on it says GURU and then Press "DEL" to enter setup..

and what happens when you hit delete. and whats this about a BSOD, I am assuming you are meaing "Blue Screen of Death".
 
OOPS lol I meant BIOS.. and when i press del nothing happens, its plugge an getting power but the psu fans didnt work so i got a new one, ill try later see if thast had anything to do with it lol.. anyways yeah the bios not bsod sorry...
 
Try plugging the PS/2 keyboard in the other PS/2 port. I wouldn't be surprised if you have it plugged into the wrong one. You could also check the manual for the motherboard to see if it's in the right port.

 
turn everything off, reset CMOS, check keyboard and all other connections

try a different keyboard
 
I tried that, tomorrow I am getting my power supply.. So I can try that tomorrow.. I mean IT IS in the correct port lol.. Im no dummy plus i cheked..
 
This is a trainwreck of a thread. Freaking describe the problem in detail and people can help. We don't have ESP. I couldn't even understand what you are trying to describe. Also, mix some English in with your description, it really helps. It's a forum, not a SMS conversation.

Sorry if your japanese but everybody else udnerstood it fuckin retard.. (DONT BAN ME) lol anyways.......... Here is your request.. :::::: I got a new motherboard and cpu.. I turn on my computer.. it asks for me to setup the bios to continue with my computer.. It says press "DEL" to continue.. I CANT PRESS IT BECAUSE MY KEYBOARD WILL NOT WORK... Is that in english?? Looks like it?? Tell me if not.. Thanks.. AND ALSO.. it is plugged in the correct spot and it gets power.. Just ain't workin.. I cant install drivers because I cant get my pc working... My friend said to install the other motherboard and go on and seet it up.. but i already lost my motherboard, it was fried.. AM I SCREWED??

I was just trying to give you some advice, I can read, and more importantly, I can SPELL. You have a shitload of spelling errors in your post, and a bunch of random dots instead of sentences. It makes it much easier to read if you actually use sentences and don't just all over the place.

Anyways, back to the problem, did you try another keyboard? My guess is the keyboard is messed up. It may have gotten fried from the other machine. Are you able to turn any of the other LEDs on once the machine is powered up. I've seen the num locks LED come on even on dead keyboards, but the caps lock and scroll lock LEDs won't come on.
 
I tried my friends new keyboard.. didnt work... Do you think it was because my PSU was'nt operating properly?? I mean does a keybaord need drivers?? I cant get past the first BIOS screen.. Anyways.. my psu was not powering the fans, maybe thats why the keyboard was not working? or is that ipossible because everything else was being powered??????

A keyboard doesn't need drivers. I wouldn't think a psu would power everything else in the system and not the keyboard. Did you try and press the caps lock and/or scroll lock and see if the LED lights up for that? Also, are you sure the keyboard is pulled into the keyboard slot and not the mouse slot? The mouse slot will cause the num lock LED to come on and not anything else.

Did you clear the CMOS? (Doubt it would help)
Make sure the connections are snug and try a USB keyboard.
Install a spare USB card and connect keyboard to it (longshot)
Call Asus' tech support line.
