Yes i know benchmarking the vertex is better...actually i was just going to say screw it and just return it and thats it but decided to get the cheaper agility as i have been reading in real world results they basically is no difference between the two.
My main reason for returning the vertex was the price i paid...$245, yes i know i could have waited for a much better deal but wanted it now figuring what the hell and did it anyway. Once i got it i was impressed, but also not impressed at the same time, everything was much snappier of course, but it just was not worth $250 so i returned it. After i reinstalled my 6400aaks i was more unimpressed, it basically felt the same. The only time the SSD seemed to make a difference was that first time you would open a program up, which i guess is the whole point of it but again the price/performance gain for $250 was not worth it.
Just bought the agility for $180 shipped with a $30 rebate and 6.5% bing cashback, so the end price will be about $140. I can live with that for the performance it will give me if it matches the vertex. Also just to add i probably did not give the vertex a long enough trial, i mean honestly it was in my system for about 3hrs at most and i probably only gave it a good hour and a half of usage after getting everything set up the way i wanted. I think the longer i would have used it the more impressed i would have been(especially going back to a mechanical)
Just wanted to share my story!
