Bose QC15 as PC headset?

I have Bose QC15 Noise Cancelling headphones I would LOVE to get working as a headset for my PC. It comes with mic and volume control on the cable which work fine with my Iphone. I'd like to be able to use them as a headset for my PC for Ventrilo/Skype but don't know how to get the connection setup. The single TRRS connector combines Audio and Mic, how would I go about separating the signals? Would I even need to separate them? Do they make soundcards or devices that can make sense of the connector and get it working how I want?

Hi,

I looked at this part online and it says something about compatibility with the iPhone style headset with the three button remote. The Bose QC15 has the iPhone cable with the Volume Up, Volume Down, And Pause Play. Is this cable that ships with the QC15 for the iPhone compatible with the MEElectronics Skype Adapter for PC? Has anyone tested this setup? If not is there a different specific part that would work?

I know how to get this to work but it involves paying bose $30 for the other smartphone headset connection kit and then buying the Skype Adapter.

My QC15 didnt come with a inline mic. I guess thats the cost of getting them used.

mannyman, really the one who sells it to you didn't deliver the cable to you. But you can solve it easily, go to the Bose homepage where you can buy some accessories.
