What are you getting for frames on average?
What's the button to see FPS in-game? Is it ctrl-C or crtl-R ?
it feels smooth, but no clue my fps?

I’ve been using it since it came out around 2009, it’s a great tool for monitoring your hardware and performance, if you do try it get the latest version at Guru 3d.I will have to download and install that and test it out
yeah, grab it off guru3d, not msi's site, they add bloatware to the installer.I will have to download and install that and test it out
Aren't you limiting yourself to 60FPS? Or am I misreading that setting?Had to use CapFrameX with RivaTuner to capture this:

Run badass FG 2x with DLSS Q. Should be hitting about 90 fps or so.If I am, I don't mean too. My monitor is 240hz. What settings to make sure it's 240 and not 60? nVidia Control Panel and Windows Graphics Settings?
I am still level 35. I am going to go ape shit in the middle section of the map soon. 68% story done. The space stuff was exciting for a bit. Gotta finish this so I can concentrate on BF6 more.I hit level 47 this evening and I unlocked ultimate vault hunter level 2, so hopefully some better gear, legendary gear for me hasn't been a lot. The missions I'm doing are just incredibly intense, I built my character Amon to be able to take a lot of damage while also being able to dish it out, even if they get me down I can recover very quickly.
He should get up to 130 and maybe more, 120-130 average for my setup on badass. Zorachus make sure your monitors refresh rate is set to 240hz in Nvidia control panel and Windows graphics, also don't use any kind of vertical sync, frame caps or limiter, also make sure Gsync is enable.Run badass FG 2x with DLSS Q. Once you beat the game it's not over, a whole other dimension opens for the game, it's when you really start building your character into a boss with the added bonus of specialization points. There are probably a ton of places you haven't been through side missions and other quests, I'm 47 and still discovering new places and fighting new enemies and bosses.I am still level 35. Btw I run 130 fps on a 5090 I saw the person had a 5080 a made an educated guess. He should get up to 130 and maybe more, 120-130 average for my setup on badass. That is Riva Tuner Statistics Software, aka RTSS.I don't use the in-game setting, instead I use Afterburner to monitor my gpu, cpu and other info such as frames.
I think most would consider both to be a total package, you typically don't use one without the other. I've never heard someone say install one without the other, and most refer to it as just Afterburner, but thanks, I've been unsure for the last 16 years about that. That is Riva Tuner Statistics Software, aka RTSS.
I did the same thing. It didn't look like a Golden Chest from BL2, so of course I clicked on it to see what would happen. Oh, well. The first one was by accident (I thought it was a normal chest)
Not going to use Golden Keys until I'm max level. Progression is the death of any great drop you find. I've found some great drops, but after about 5 or 6 character level-ups they become obsolete even to the trash. At least with max level that's not a problem.I've used 2 golden keys so far. The first one was by accident (I thought it was a normal chest) and the second one was just for shits and gigs. I didn't get anything noteworthy from either.
On my end of things, weapon/item quality seems to go in waves. I'll go a while with all of my new drops having stats that are 20-30% lower than my better items. Then all of a sudden I'll get 3-4 items with great stats that end up lasting me for 5-6 levels in a row.
I'm at level 35 right now and I figure I'm not going to sweat anything that falls in my lap until I hit level 50. That's when I'll start caring about golden keys and getting good legendaries.
No clue if it's an option in Borderlands 4, but I'd love some way to make lower level gear gain levels. For instance, I'd love if that level 10 legendary grenade with 200dps could become a level 50 version of itself with 5000dps. Right now it feels like all my legendaries are kind of a waste.
RTSS just does the in-game overlay. Afterburner is what is feeding it the sensor data.I think most would consider both to be a total package, you typically don't use one without the other. Correct, Afterburner and Riva Tuner work hand in hand which is why they are included in the same install package.RTSS just does the in-game overlay. Afterburner is what is feeding it the sensor data.
You can use other apps to feed RTSS data, it's not restricted to just Afterburner. I use HWiNFO to feed RTSS my SSD temps, mobo temps and other sensor data that Afterburner doesn't support out-of-the-box. Basically, I use all three apps.
I did a little digging, and can't find any real info on Custom FPS Limit, but I would try setting it at your monitor's refresh, just in case you are getting past 60 FPS.If I am, I don't mean too. Due to timings and whatnot, you're never going to hit exactly 240 Hz.Every setting I reviewed last night shows my monitor's refresh is 240hz. In Windows 11 Display settings it states it @ 239hz. In nVidia Control Panel is states 240hz refresh rate set.
Is there an in-game setting to force it to go to 240?
Other games I play, like Diablo IV or WoW, I can press Ctrl-R or Ctrl-C to get a fps number on the screen, and those games will show like 191fps or 203fps, etc... so I know my PC settings are correct with refresh rate. Unless it's just Borderlands 4?

130 fps sounds about right for your cardI totally understand that, but my point is, I should surely be getting above 60hz. That FPS software I ran last night showed me getting 130fps with Badass ultra settings. But someone said it looked like I was only getting 60hz or something?
Yes. If the UI doesn't provide it already, you can configure a custom value by editing the game user settings file using your favorite text editor. Is there an in-game setting to force it to go to 240?
Then find and edit the line:%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Borderlands 4\Saved\Config\Windows\GameUserSettings.ini
Save the file and restart BL4. You should now be mostly capped at that framerate.FrameRateLimit=97.000000
Yeah- I just saw pic #2, where it looks like the game might be limiting to 60hz. If your monitoring software said 130hz it's probably not doing what I thought it would.I totally understand that, but my point is, I should surely be getting above 60hz. Farm Splashzone for an hour. Quick before a nerf hits, it's OP farming. I go back every 4 levels for all new gear.im like level 34 and I've hit a gear wall. I am getting very few drops of rare or greater gear and I'm not getting new weapons that are worth a damn. Think I've been using mostly the same 4 weapons since like lvl 28 or so.
not really.Do I need to change a setting in-game?
I will have to download and install that and test it out
