Borderlands 2 Launch Date Trailer

B2 trailer is totally awesome! I'm definitely getting the Collector's Edition. :D

The first one was the best shooter I've ever played (insert obligatory reply of blah, blah different strokes, blah why don't you play X, blah blah ignorant, blah blah blah).

Really looking forward to this. I only buy one game per calendar year. Dollars to doughnuts, this one will be it.

meh, looks like rage with cel shading

I've played and finished both. Rage and Borderlands are nothing alike and look nothing alike.

Not so sure I like the new character lineup. I want my bloodwing, darnit!

As they were introducing the characters and got to Zero, I fully expected them to announce it as "...and a #&*@^# ninja".

Looks great, will buy when it hits sub-$10 on Steam, no point in paying full retail for anything.

Oh hell yea.

Salvador for the win.

Except for the console fag stuff in it like the skills menu and the split screen, I havn't been this excited for a game in a long long long time. Probably since oblivion and fallout 3.

very excited over here. however epic campaign? we'll see...first one was disappoint.

Yep. Rage is the worst game I played last year, whereas Borderlands is one of the best I've played in recent times. Rage was extremely short (6-7hrs) and linear (even though they tried to make it seem open), and had very limited depth in terms of enemies/weapons. It did run really smooth, but that's about the only thing it had going for it.

Borderlands on the other hand is an actual open world, with great shooting mechanics, a vast selection of weapons, and a lot of gameplay (probably 50+ hours if you do everything). It also has good replay value because you can replay the game with all the stuff you unlocked, not to mention co-op

I always thought the co-op in the first game was broken, whenever the host would level the enemies would also level with him, problem was it made it impossible for someone one level lower than me to even get a single kill.

Fun single player game though.

Dubstep = for the fad followers who weren't cool enough for DnB the first time it came out.

Otherwise, yes, I will be getting this, but I certainly hope they have better voice acting than the horrible talents from 90% of the first one.

I loved Borderlands but the default FOV was so horrible that I'll wait for a fix if I can't change it out of the box.

I'll miss Lilith. :(

Overdramatic dubstep bad. Funky indy soundtrack good. Need to go back to indy soundtrack for trailers I'm pretty sure No Heaven and Ain't No Rest... helped sell a lot of boxes..

Because those are such indie songs they were using before. Not liking Dubstep is fine but don't confuse your taste for good music as indie.

I've liked both Borderlands trailers and I thought the dubstep went very well with this one (or vice versa). 96.5% more wub wub isn't always a bad thing ;)

Unfortunately, this video is not available in Germany because it may contain music for which GEMA has not granted the respective music rights.

lol, first it was music, which i understand, but lately it's getting to random podcasts, and now even advertisements (yes i take a trailer as an advert), just 2 days ago The Big Bang Theory greeting from the crew, now that...

Was there ever a fix for the fov? That really messed with me.

Yes, config trickery to change it every time you moved to avoid it resetting.

Besides the shitty ending and sometimes iffy multiplayer, the first one was fucking great. I'll probably buy the shit out of this.

Dubstep is cool enough, but I do really hope they keep the music taste from the first game, I really thought it fit well. Plus they clued me into Cage the Elephant, and had the best opener since... CnC?

anything split screen co-op ..I'm on it .. my wife and I enjoyed the first game ..

glad to see other dubstep haters out there. I find it absolutely obnoxious.

Terrible music aside, I am looking forward to the game.

If I hear another new trailer with dubstep I'm going to cut myself.

I'd would buy this but I bought DNF and now I'm boycotting Gearbox.

Well, if that's what you want to do... though it would be a shame to miss on a game you might really like because you disliked one game they just happened to finish for another company that went bankrupt.

First one was great minus the hacking which kind of ruined any point of item progression.

As far as a trailer I can't express my happiness at a game trailer featuring both in game graphics and gasp gameplay!

If the reviews come in favorably i'll probably pick it up.
