I have a E6600 and an x1950pro already and I need a motherboard for it. I was looking at the BOXD975XBXLKR Intel board, but it doesn't seem to get the best reviews. I read about ATI graphics cards being used as a PPU in a third PCI-E slot, but I can't find any references to it on mother boards. Is it even out yet?
 
I don't think the capability is out there to do that yet. Driver issues, etc. are holding that up.
 
I have the Gigabyte DS3 motherboard and have been very happy with it. There was a review of it on the front page not long ago.
