Bit of an odd problem here. I connected a 5970 to my HDTV via a mini displayport to HDMI adapter and when loading up a game or exiting one it'll sometimes blue screen with a IRQL not less or equal error. I've tried disabling the ATI HDMI audio device to see if that was the culprit, but no luck. The weird thing is it happens randomly. Also, it's not reproducible on my main display.

EDIT: Under further testing.. this only seems to happen with Crysis Warhead.

Catalyst 10.2 here.

Making the HDTV as the primary display then disabling the other monitor fixed this. Also my FPS shot up, so seemingly CrossFire does not function if you are using extended desktop with 10.2.

are you running a custom desktop theme? because Crysis HATES dual displays, especially if your running a custom desktop theme.. also are you running in windowed or full screen?

i know for me i have to alt+enter from full screen then to windowed then back to full screen so that it brings up the stupid warning thing about using a custom desktop theme after that its completely fine..

*note* im using a nvidia card though but this should still be the same for ATI cards..

Full screen, using the default Aero theme. It seems like the extended desktop option interferes with CrossFire. Wonder if anyone else has run into this issue..
