Well, after more then a month of long ass hard work, grueling hours of research, googling, newegg shopping, forum reading and question asking to the point were I myself questioned my sanity, I finally decided on my parts for my SFF last week and sent the egg my order. After a long Halloween night and some good sleep, I went to work early Saturday and by the evening, I was clocking along on a kick ass new rig.:cool:

Thanks to all for the input and suggestions, i'm very happy with my setup.

Yeah, I heard to many things about that Zalman being noisy, and I couldn't justify freaking $70 for it either, the scythe will be here tomoroo.
 
I replaced the crappy Intel HSF with my Scythe Shuriken yesterday and wow, whatta difference! :eek: My stock temps were 50-51c and jumped to 72c during an overnight prime 95 burn. With the Shuriken, im now at 41-42c and 59-61c full crank and its a HELLUVA alot quieter, even at full speed.

Freaking awsome, i'll never go back to towers. I"ve worked with Shuttles before and though their good systems *for a price*, you can build a helluva allot nicer rig with more expansion/space for less money in one of these cases
 
and with the power supply fan exhausting.. which way is your cpu heatsink fan facing? the cpu area in this case seems a bit crowded but i guess it's not a big deal if not overclocking i guess

The fan on the HSF blows down like most of em do and in trial runs, i've had it up to 3.6ghz, im gonna put on a bigger 100mm in the near future
 
I like what you did Freeze, very well done! I'm also digging the wire management you did, how did you get that to look as good as it did?

Big thanks goes to modular PSU, that helps alot. Beyond that, i've just had years of experience with managing wires.

Yeah, cost my some SATA ports but im working on getting some 90 degree SATA cables so I can get my eSATA back
