Heh, no probs. Just to be clear though, the SKU that is listed points to the 730B but the add only says "Name Brand, 8 ms". Individual stores could in theory substitute other monitors. Caveat Emptor.
 
mmmmm 200gb for $29.99.... 15 cents per gig is looking mighty nice right about now.

I'd be really tempted if it were a bigger drive and it weren't all rebates... I am thinking about making the jump, but I don't want to waste IDE/SATA ports on smallish drives when I know I will fill up however big I buy anyway.
 
What are the 200 gb's anyway, sata or ide?

I wouldn't mind buying a couple, and then getting two 10 dollar external cases off of ebay and make my own externals.

I need about 400 gigs anyway, my friend is hooking my up with 400,000 songs!!! :D (all legit of course.....*cough, bullshit, cough *)
 
If I had to guess I'd say they're IDE.

I'm gonna build a fileserver so I don't really care about high performance.

I think I'll pick up two of them.

You know, I am STILL waiting for my rebate from a Samsung 17" LCD I bought at frys last year for Black Friday..... $170 rebate, and I have called the place 20 times at least... Just yesterday I sat on the phone for 75 minutes on hold waiting for someone to answer my call, and no luck..

Avoid the mail in rebates. They are all a sham. I'll never see that $170. It made that great deal, a bad deal damn quick. black friday was on the 26th last year, 17 more days and it will have been a whole year since I bought it.

On "wheresmyrebate.com" it shows the rebate has been approved. Been that way for over 9 months...

yeah, that really sucks... this is why i don't mess with rebates anymore. i really don't care how good the deal is... i can wait for the price to go down, or another deal.

On BF, they just give you a refund. I know someone who tried it (he didnt know BF would knock $50 off the item) and they gave him back what he paid for it. Of couse then, he tried to stand there and get them to let him repurchase it at the sale price, and the register person made up something about having to catalog it, ect, ect. I'm sure they waited till he left then put it back on the floor (you know how HDDs sell out in the first hour or so).

i work at circuit city, the reason they say they wont do it is because it's a dorrbuster/one day only sell. first come first serve to better serve the customers.

is it just me or on page two, do all the wireless g products look like a good deal for 2.99? And if the store opens at 11:59 on thursday, does that mean people will be camping out at 8 at night for them to open?
 
Are there ever any unlisted sales?, like mega deals that noone knows about till the store opens and theres only a few or so?.
 
their wont be @ compusa. i already took a look at the real ad (i work there)..and about price matching, normally no one price matches on black friday. and i will definately tell all my cs reps that we wont. (im a lead)
 
yeah, i also work the compusa and i can also confirm that they are going to be open 24 hours. i'll be on the graveyard shift anyway. 11:30PM Thursday until 10:00 AM Friday... ouch.

they gave us the ad for friday last night, but i can assure you that it wasn't much. everything that i saw that might've been good had rebates.

edit: there were some unlisted sales mentioned that could be found out through the mailing list, but they were only on some large items like computers and what not.
 
Compusa's ad this year sucks because of the aol crap. Hell they have a tv with the aol signup price listed on the ad. The only good thing is that the aol deal seems like it will work with bring your own broadban which means if you paid for a year of it you would make about 70 bucks. If anything if you don't mind selling your soul you can get 70 bucks for a year loan that is interest free to spend some extra cash.
