Currently have guiminer running on my xfx 5870 non reference cooler. 352 mh/s. How can I tweak it for it to go up? O and I know nothing about overclocking.
After creating an account you have to create a worker which will be your username with an underscore and then a second word of your choosing.
yes, it needs to download the block chain first, once it hits this number then you will be on the current block...Quick question. Do I need to wait for the bitcoin client to find all the blocks before I can start mining?
What miner is best for ATI GPUs?
that is true....btw the forums aren't working, are they working for anyone else?
the forums are working?
price is increasing dammit...my hardware wont be in until this afternoon
Finally got my spare rig up and running again. Stupid raid0 drives was causing Win7 not to load the OS. Mining on a 5770. It started out at ~180 mhash/s but after overclocking to 960/600 it's mining at ~200 mhash/s. Can't get memory lower than that. Now I wished I kept my other 5770s. I could be mining at 600 mhash/s with minimal cost.
Could some one pls tell me why guiminer only sees one of my 3 gpus? do i have to mine in linux to be able to use all 3? 325Mhash/s is making me QQ
So 2 questions:
1 - should I put two works to my single gpu?
2 - how will I know if I find any coins?
Aren't the 5770/6770 a better deal than a 6950 if you have the slots? You can get a cheap ASUS 5770 for $110-20mir on newegg and they get over 200Mhash/s.
Do you have a monitor or a dummy plug connected to each card? You need that to be able to mine.
