BFG RMA Takes forever!

I just responded to the email that you sent. I do apologize for the delay in getting your card out to you. I have been away on a business trip for the last week and a half and it's been a bit rough trying to handle the issues without being here. I will have this sorted out for you tomorrow, either by getting you the same card you sent in, or if I cannot I will find a model that is as good if not better.

Encouraging to know that BFG representatives themselves personally handle situations...I own one myself. :)

Disappointing that a person had to come here and post on a public forum in order to get things handled though :/

BFG customer service is top notch.

And I've never owned a BFG card in my life.

So one guy on holiday and the entire RMA team is dead ? that cant be right..

Not exactly. I had his issue escalated to me so it was in my court. The RMA team should be more than capable of handling this, but as stated this was an issue that I was working on.

BFG RMA doesn't always take forever, and when you get your product you'll almost certainly be satisfied with it. We had a thread on this in Jan. I think on balance I had a positive experience with BFG, in spite of my epic battle against the lies and incompetence within the company they did ultimately fulfill their obligations--and went beyond in some cases.

I haven't been a BFG customer since last September and am happy with EVGA, but wouldn't hesitate to recommend BFG for those with access to Jeff here at [H]; BFG's telephone support crew were a very mixed bag and absent Jeff's proactive help I couldn't recommend being a BFG customer.

Who knows if OP followed the RMA process. So disappointing a comment like this comes without any factual info. BFG has always been a cut above in customer service.

Now it is GREAT that someone can come to this public forum for assistance withh BFG, and get it very quickly, if necessary.

As stated before, I'm sure the OP will be very happy with the outcome of his issue.

jeff has been very proactive on getting issues resolved on this site. i applaud his efforts on making customers happy with bfg products.

I've only had good experiences with my BFG purchases. I RMA'd my BFG6800GT twice and they were 2 years apart! Gotta love the lifetime warranty.

Jeff is fantastic to work with, he gets things moving and he is the reason I owned 3 BFG video cards and the BFG ES 800 power supply.

I've been using BFG for years. Love em. Mobo, and GPUs, had to send a mobo back once, got the replacement within a few days, we shipped at the same time. Reps always have been available to help on the phone, and I can understand what they are saying, unlike some out sourced tech support.

Meh, like I said before, if someone had an issue with another brand that posted on this forum, they would get the same results.

2 people have the same issue, and a company tells them no, one posts on a forum about the issue, the forum rep swoops in and looks like a hero, while the other guy orders a new video card and throws his other one in the trash because there would be no bad PR.

Your example may be true Radeon but how many people had to turn to Joe from EVGA to have an issue resolved? If there is a gap in a company's process and the customer unfortunately does follow the escalation process, those that try to lead the company would never know there was an issue with the policies or personnel they have set in place. Does this mean you will have that less than 5% of your customer become frustrated or placed with a bed customer experience? Yes, but it is what a company does and learn from that 5% that makes it a better company in the end. No company is perfect Heck call Asus right now tell them that windows is crashing and it seems it is a driver issue with your northbrige chipset. Then report back I am sure that you will have a far worse experience than any of the examples posted on BFG.

In a perfect world no company would make a mistake or product wouldn't go bad, but the facts are they do and we all should try our best to work with it.
