BFG 680i Dying - Best solution?

I've always had solid luck with BFG products, and their support.

I haven't gone to them yet for support, which will have to happen soon I think.

I'm getting the dreaded nvlddmkm driver crashes, and random system lockups that seem to be attributable to a failing 680i northbridge.

I have a BFG 680i mobo, (2) BFG 7900GTX 512s in SLI, Core 2 Duo 2.93 GHz running on a PPC 750W power supply. It's currently a water cooled setup, 1/2", Apogee GT, DD 7900 blocks, 3x120mm black ice. RAM is OCZ Reaper PC28500 2GB.

What do you guys think the best move is?

Work with BFG and RMA the board, hope that the 680i issues disappear along with this flaky board?

Nurse it along until the next gen graphics are out and toss SLI and go to a single high end card and an Intel chipset?

Asking for opinions - I really like high performance build your own computers, however the dreaded nvlddmkm/680i issue is making me crazy.

The best idea is to contact BFG, not really much else I can say.

Sounds like the same problems I've been having. I've got an EVGA so I'm just going to use the stepup program. But I think you would be best to contact BFG. I got awsome support with a card I had from them about a year back...

You do not mention if you compensated for removing the "blowby" cooling from the stock HS/fan when you went to watercooling. A fan on the NB and some air on the CPU voltage regulation components around the cpu socket might fix you up. Or not.
