When I go into coolbits and try to push either the memory or core up even 1 mhz, and then click the "test settings" button, it says it did not pass the test!

There must be an internal setting or something preventing me from overclocking this card, what gives?

What happens when you try the automatic overclocking feature?

I feel bad for you man, it seems like you're having nothing but problems with this card!

Ah c'mon you can live without overclocking like I did with my geforce 3.
You have a high-end video card.

Maybe your PSU is too weak... and its only functioning at the default clock b/c it cant go lower.

I had the same problem, Wouldnt go past 382/777. I was getting pissed even with good cooling. So my board fryed and I returned it for a new one. Now I got 401/804 useing nvidia's clock detection tool.

Its TRUE! thanks for the sympathy...I am not sure how much I can chalk up to poor drivers...

1. Video output in Black and White
2. Won't overclock 1 mhz
3. Dual monitor bug drops framerate while gaming...

If I don't get number 1 or number 3 corrected by the end of the month im taking it back...I don't have money to throw around on shit hardware...

No, thats not the same problem i am having. This won't go 1 MHZ over spec with regard to ram OR the core...

its a setting, i know the card can overclock 1 mhz.

Good job returning hardware that you fried by running it out of spec (and warranty specifications)...

Anyway, regarding the topic at hand, what kinda problems are you having with dual monitor support and lower frame rates? I recall reading about something related when the 6800s first came out... There was a relatively simple fix burried in the driver settings (a change from the defaults).

Well, I know about the fix, i shouldn't have to "fix" my 280 dollar video card.

I am still having issues with Black and white tv-out...can't figure it out, but don't have a second s-video cable to test...
