I have an wired xbox in one of my usb port. Do I need to take this out to fix the x100times mouse acceleration feeling? I had to adjust the mouse settings to almost 0 just to get a manageable control over my guy lol.
Ah yes, my 5970 welcomes this.Download the official Cap 4:

fixed my issues 100%! I didn't see a HT threading in my BIOS it was called something else. Disabling resolved all of my stutter! BUTTER now!
Starting up BF3 it opens up IE and asks me to log in. When I type in my login/password; I get dumped back into the logon screen.
If open up firefox I can log in and it will work fine. being lazy. I'd rather it just log in when IE opens up. Any fix?
The controller interferes with you mouse dead zone. Unplug it and report back.

The 64 player maps are rubberband fests. It could seem like stutter when it's really the server. Play small player servers 32-48 and see if it goes away.Well.. actually it didn't fix my issue at all. It seems larger scaled maps are just STUTTER fests. WTH is wrong with this game? or is it the drivers? This is so annoying.
Anyone have problems with fullscreen? It seems to always run windowed. I tried Left Alt+Enter, toggle fullscreen in options, ALT+F1, everything. Still cant. I gave up and just played in windowed :/
Ok finally fixed my issue. I had textures still set to Ultra, not sure why but I guess Ultra causes severe stuttering. Set to High, butter smooth now on large maps.
Make sure to click on a button almost on the bottom that says "Apply Full Screen Now" or something like that.
So to recap:
(1) Toggle Full Screen.
(2) Click on the "Apply Full Screen Now"
Whenever i hold CTRL or SHIFT and try to fire i get a wierd issue. If i click quickly it starts beeping and stuttering, almost like im pressing too many keys at once on a keyboard.
Could be a memory issue on your vid card.
Or a driver issue. If it was a memory issue, most likely there would be either crashes to desktop or BSOD.
anyone running cap4 on 11.10preview3 on 6970 crossfire?

Exceeding your vram typically results in a significant frame rate drop or stuttering. I have not seen it result in crashes or BSOD. I'm hitting ~1.5GB of VRAM usage @ 1920x1080 Ultra, High FXAA, HBAO Off, 16x Aniso ~100fps average, so it wouldn't surprise me if he is running out of vram on that 5850.
1GB VRAM probably isn't enough for your resolution on High/Ultra settings for textures/etc on the full scale maps. 1280 or so would probably be okay.Well.. actually it didn't fix my issue at all. Anyone use/try Origin in Sandboxie? Anyone know how to fix Battlelog in Firefox not showing pings or maybe change the default browser for Sandboxie without having the purchase the full version of it? Pings show just fine when it's running outside of Sandboxie.
Can you elaborate on which? I've checked for HT in my BIOS but my board doesn't have the option, which probably doesn't matter because my Q6600 doesn't do HT. I've installed 11.10v3 and I still stutter.
What else should I do?
It's more of a "zoom level" thing.
M makes the minimap less mini.
N changes the zoom level.
It helps alot in certain situations. Especially when I don't know the map at all.
Guys,
Look at below...They are working fix kicked by admin errors.![]()
Can you control the opacity of the map like the old BF games?
In Internet explorer, make Battlefield.com a trusted site. Also go into the pop up blocker and allow it as well.
heres my issue :

If you take the game to a res of 4800X900 it does displays everything correctly on the screen, and runs fine, but if you go above that is hell, you can't see shit.
well thats my case, is anyone else running at 5760X1200 having this same issue?
black screen when game actually launches on cat 11.9's. nothing i have tried has worked yet![]()

I'm running that on 6950's - go for it. It works great - no stutter, 99% GPU usage on both cards![]()
