BF2 Stats wiped?

I just recently got BF2, been playing a lot. I was playing a few hours tonight... only to leave the server and find out my rank is now Private and says I have no kills or deaths.

Totally wiped clean.

What's the dealio?

Im glad some one is finally lookin out for the little guy. I can only hope that they keep up the good work.
