I'm mostly familiar with the early model WRT54G's, now known as the WRT54GL.
If I had to buy another router in that price range, Id probably go with a GL. Apparently theyre still popular.
As for the TP-Link, Depends on what youre trying to do with it. Its not 3rd party flashable but it does have the ability to be put in bridge or client mode. Its inexpensive.
