Best Wireless Router

I'm mostly familiar with the early model WRT54G's, now known as the WRT54GL.
If I had to buy another router in that price range, I’d probably go with a GL. Apparently they’re still popular.

As for the TP-Link, Depends on what you’re trying to do with it. Its not 3rd party flashable but it does have the ability to be put in bridge or client mode. It’s inexpensive.
Give it a try.
 
I didn't use the right term. I need a wireless access point client which the TP-Link does support,
but I am not having any luck getting it to talk to my D-Link 524. They did swap packets with each
other, but I am unable to ping other IPs across the wireless connection. I am going to research some
more threads before ask more specific questions, but if someone has something add right off the top
of their head, please do so! ;)
 
Got it working. I had to set the ip addresses to dynamic. The default static values just
wasn't working.
