Best wireless adapter card for desktop?

I need a wireless adapter card for my desktop. Is there ones that are are must haves ?

I found this on Newegg but it doesn't have WPA2.

All the ones with WPA2 seem to have really bad reviews, like this one below.

Are there better ones out there ? Maybe a site has reviewed a lot and came out with the
best bang for the buck, etc ?

I'd get a MiniPCI-E to PCI-E adapter card and use an Atheros AR9001-based card in it if you're going to be using this in Windows.

If you don't want to do that, make sure it's an Atheros AR5006XS or later Atheros chip. It should have Super G.

Something like a SparkLAN WMIA-199N

Or just look at the 108Mbps cards. The D-link and Netgears on Newegg in that category are Atheros.

WPA2 is a plus, but I'd say not a must. WPA at least is a must.
