I had this monitor but it broke last night: Samsung SyncMaster 245B 24IN Widescreen Black LCD Monitor 1920X1200 3000:1 5MS VGA DVI HAS (Edit: It seems we can no longer link to THAT website around here!)

I'm looking for a similar replacement today!

I don't need speakers or usb hubs on my monitor. The only things it needs to have are 24" of goodness, a 1920x1200 native resolution and a DVI port. I use it for programming, gaming, browsing, watching Blurays, etc. What would the best bang for the buck be nowadays? I haven't been reading much about this in the last few years!

Thank you very much in advance! :)

HP ZR24W might be worth a look. Low lag IPS, as I remember the 245BW was low lag too.

If you can wait the Dell U2412M is around the corner, and a little later the Samsung S24A850DW is too. These are all 1920x1200 IPS/PLS screens.

Thank you all for the advice! After consideration, I decided to hold on before switching over to IPS. Thus, I will be going for a 2443BW which is a great bang for the buck and still an improvement from what I had, from my understanding.
