best PS/2 mechanical

If they look like Cherry but product info never mentions Cherry, it's a clone. Funny how their other practically identical model specifically mentions Cherry. Note the keyboard CustomPCReview reviewed was the KB-POI-BRBLUS-01 (Poseiden with Cherry switches) and not the KB-PIZ-KBBLUS-01 (Poseidon Z with clones).

PS/2 is better. NKRO is a hack with USB and latency should be slightly lower with PS/2 as well. USB is still "okay" for keyboards, but PS/2 is better.

NKRO is only necessary in a few instances (musical games and multi-player emulators) and most mechanical boards will run true 6-KRO over USB.

The latency issue however is a bit silly because of the way new hardware routs PS/2 signals; over all, the keyboards on-board controller will be the determining factor on latency. The difference we're talking about is ~20ms between decent controllers (iirc); imo, if you get a half decent keyboard, latency is a non-issue no matter the interface.

PS/2 v. USB when concerning keyboards should only be considered if you need the USB real-estate or don't have a PS/2 port.

Also, in many cases of keyboards that come with passive converters, the interface that isn't native (normally PS/2) will have issues due to poor/incomplete coding.
