I just got some Logitech X-530's and I thought id try a cheap 5.1 card since my onboard didnt support it. Ive never really been into computer audio, if it worked I just used it but after hearing surround sound in games (Im die hard BF2) I had to get it. I got a Sabrent card, which turns out to be exactly what you pay for (was 10 bucks). Commanders voice starts to slow down, and certain sounds will scratch/pop at times. What would you guys recommend for a card under 50 bucks? I was thinkin about the Audiotrak Maya 7.1 Gold, or a Turtle Beach card. Any suggestions would be great.
 
I have that same audigy 2, 2/3 years old and holding up very strong, it's an awesome card.
 
I ordered it, since its a direct refurb from creative themselves I feel pretty comfortable. Its a steal for the price, I think itll do wonders for my setup.
 
I think I'd get the Aud2 ZS myself instead of just a plain Aud2, but that's just me.
 
Just wanted to thank you for the link MisterX, this card is better than anything ive had. Im one of those guys whos used to onboard audio, so even though this is no X-Fi, it sure does sound amazing to me (and a very well conditioned refurb too, couldnt find any flaws with the card and all the paperwork and cd's came with it). The price was a steal imo.
