Well, the unthinkable happened... During my move, the 5-way binding posts on the back of my 3 speakers (L, R, and C) were swiped off by a deck chair.
I tried to solder them back together, but the connection is (at best) flakey, and (at worst) sounds like hell.
I need some new speakers now, it seems. A Left, a Center and a Right. They will be paired (triplicated?) with my Harmon Kardon AVR 130 Amp.
Budget is fairly important to me, I need both the L and R speakers to be around 150$ total (75$ each)... And the center to be under 100$. I'm willing to go to 100$ each if the difference is very easily appreciable... But the music I listen to is ALL AAC 192kbps. Stereo CD music, Dvd's and Hi Def Movies are NOT what these speakers will be driving! Just 24/7 Music I have a nice set in my basement for those... I just need something to pair with my amp and 10" sub.
Cheers!
