Hi, I'm trying to find a good card for one of my friends for around $50 - $70.

I'm thinking of this radeon 9550 from zipzoomfly.com

I'll probably go for the MSI card, but I was just wondering of you guys had any pointers as to which might be better, or if there was a better card out there for the money.

I bought a 9500Pro when the first came out and all I got to say is WOW....It is still my gaming card running just fine with a 2500+ running at 2.8GHz (up from 1.8GHz)
 
yeah, if they still made those cards, I'd definately go with one of those. the 8 pipelines on the 9500 pro helps alot instead of the 4 with the 9550
