Short and sweet, what is currently the best app to test your v.card overclocks with for artifacts ? I want a general idea, and will down clock if any games have issues, but just need an app like Kumbustor or Furmark, etc. What is everyone using ?

Not sure there is necessarily simple answer as to "the best", but around the office here we usually test cards in Heaven and 3dMark, then move to Furmark.

Thanks for the reply. I've heard some saying that Furmark is excessive, so I was unsure whether to use it.

Furmark is an excellent test of the video card's cooling and throttling abilities in a worst case scenario. There have been a few problematic big publisher titles that had some bugs that caused similar high load conditions until they were patched. Of course now some drivers auto-detect it and throttle based on the application, which defeats the purpose.
