Looking for a 20-24 inch CRT to do my gaming on, currently on a 19 inch but just looking for a small upgrade so I can hand-me-down this one to my other rig. Any ideas?

The 22 MAG CRT's are pretty good. I've had those and a Dell 21 incher also. Never had a prob. The Dell even had dual inputs to use with two different sources.

If you are willing to pay a little bit of a price tag, you cant beat the Sony GDM-fw900. 24" Widescreen. I would kill for 2 of em if I had the space.

Check Ebay for more affordable ones.

I've got a GDM-FW900 :) Well, technically it's an HP A7217A, which is the HP OEM version of the GDM-FW900. IMHO it's the best gaming monitor ever made. There's nothing quite like HL2 at 2304x1440. It's too bad they don't make them anymore. I picked up a 3.5yo one (presumably a typical 36 or 39 month lease unit) off eBay last winter for $478 shipped.

my viewsonic p220f isn't bad. 22 inch, black, and not insanely priced. ( I think I got it for $500 about a year ago)

I must admit the sony fm900 or its oem clone is the best damn monitor ever made. The only drawback--and it's a big one--is the weight. My god, that thing is like a car.

Yep. Roughly 92 lbs. With me weighing in around 220 it's not a problem, but I still don't move it around unless I'm moving. IMHO, the girth of the beast isn't important unless you either can't carry it far enough to get it into a car/truck/van/uhaul or you don't have the $ or space for a 2nd lighter monitor to take to lans.
