Overclocking is a plus. It is for light gaming and I have all the other parts. AMD or Intel is fine, but I'm thinking AMD might be best in this price range. Mobo doesn't need to support SLI or Crossfire.

If you live near a Microcenter, and depending on your answers to Danny Bui's question, and if you can go slightly over $200:

$160 Intel Core i5 2500K LGA 1155 Boxed Processor

$55 (before $10 MIR) - Biostart TZ77A LGA 1155 Z77 ATX Intel Motherboard

$215 before $10 MIR.

(Put them both in your cart. Note this is for in-store purchases only.)

If you have a hard $200 limit, consider getting a Core i3-2100 for $90 at Microcenter plus another motherboard (like the Biostar from Durvelle27's post)

If you don't live near a Microcenter, see the above posts.

Quick question about the Microcenter prices/combo ... are these types of discounted prices & combo deals regular offerings? Or is this a August promotion that should be jumped on?

MC's $50 i5/i7 discount comes and goes...if you miss it it'll be around again in a few weeks.
